Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Research Scientist to participate in experimental and/or CFD studies in Combustion & Propulsion research.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess a Doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in Aerospace Propulsion and Gas Dynamics.

Experimental Research: Comprehensive knowledge of experimental techniques in combustion and gas dynamics, including flow velocity, pressure and temperature measurements, combustion diagnostics, and tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy. Proven skills in experimental design, data acquisition, and data analysis.

Numerical Research: Strong expertise in combustion Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and extensive experience in code development. Prior experience with OpenFOAM, GPU acceleration, and familiarity with commercial CFD software.

Ability to work independently and good communication skills are essential.
