Project Manager / Support Services Manager

Job Summary

Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT implementation projects for mission-critical systems serving enterprise clients, including government departments and Hong Kong International Airport. Manage ongoing support and maintenance contracts to ensure high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

• Manage support and maintenance contracts, including SLA management, incident resolution, and continuous service improvement.

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing stakeholder expectations, progress reporting, and steering committee communications.

• Lead cross-functional project teams, assign tasks, monitor deliverables, and provide guidance to team members.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks. Escalate critical issues and recommend appropriate actions.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors and subcontractors to ensure seamless project delivery.

• Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, change requests, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of IT experience.

• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager or Team Lead, managing IT system implementation projects and the support and maintenance of mission-critical systems.

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• PMP and/or PRINCE2 Practitioner certification.

• Hands-on knowledge or solid experience with IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9), including Asset Management, Work Management, or related modules.

• Previous experience working on government and/or airport-related projects.

• Good knowledge of ITIL / IT Service Management (ITSM) practices.
