Blockchain Specialist – Technical Product Manager
Location: Singapore
Engagement: Permanent
We are looking for a Blockchain Specialist with strong technical product management experience and deep knowledge of Canton Network to help shape and deliver a client’s ledger platform.
You will bridge business stakeholders, engineering teams and technology partners, translating financial workflows into clear product requirements and delivery priorities. The role requires enough technical depth to challenge architecture decisions, assess trade-offs and guide implementation.
Key responsibilities
- Own product requirements and delivery priorities for the client’s blockchain ledger.
- Define how Canton Network supports the platform’s financial workflows, privacy requirements and integration needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Work with engineers and architects on ledger design, smart-contract functionality, permissions and transaction workflows.
- Assess Canton capabilities and constraints, identifying dependencies, risks and implementation options.
- Coordinate integrations with existing financial systems and external providers.
- Lead backlog prioritization, delivery planning, stakeholder communication and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure operational requirements—including auditability, resilience and transaction monitoring—are reflected in the product.
Essential experience
- Technical product management or business-facing solution delivery experience in blockchain, digital assets or financial infrastructure.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of Canton Network, ideally gained through direct involvement in a Canton implementation.
- Understanding of Canton’s architecture, including participant nodes, synchronizers, privacy, permissioning and transaction processing.
- Working knowledge of Daml smart contracts and how they model financial agreements, rights and obligations.
- Ability to discuss APIs, integrations, ledger behaviour and architecture trade-offs confidently with engineering teams.
- Experience translating complex financial processes into actionable product requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management across business, technology and operations.
Desirable experience
- Capital-markets knowledge across securities, settlement, collateral, repo or custody.
- Experience with tokenization, digital cash or delivery-versus-payment workflows.
- Involvement in taking a distributed-ledger product from discovery through implementation and production.
- Experience working with regulated financial institutions and enterprise technology partners.
Candidate profile
You combine product ownership with technical credibility. You can explain how Canton would support a financial use case, question implementation assumptions and guide delivery.
Hands-on coding is not the primary requirement; Canton expertise and the ability to turn business needs into a deliverable product are.
