About the Job

  • Location: KL Eco City
  • Contract Duration: 12 Months Contract
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Hybrid)
  • Salary: Up to RM12,000 per month (Based on experience)


Job Responsibilities

Operational Excellence

  • Manage end-to-end payroll operations, either in-house or through external vendors, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with statutory requirements and company policies.
  • Maintain payroll and HR data quality, integrity, and accuracy across all systems and processes.
  • Handle payroll issue resolution, payroll accounting activities, taxation administration, data analysis, and legislative compliance.
  • Administer and maintain time and attendance processes, including work schedules, public holiday calendars, time calculation rules, and system configurations.
  • Provide payroll and compensation data support to Compensation & Benefits and Mobility teams.
  • Support internal and external audits related to payroll, HR data, and compliance requirements.
  • Manage payroll vendors, including selection, contract management, onboarding, performance monitoring, and invoice processing.
  • Ensure payroll-related finance processes are executed accurately and within established timelines.


Service Engagement

  • Provide payroll advisory services, including manual payment calculations, payslip simulations, gross-up computations, and statutory claim support.
  • Monitor changes in payroll legislation and employment regulations, providing guidance to stakeholders on compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with HR teams and business partners to resolve payroll and HR operational issues and deliver high-quality employee services.
  • Escalate unresolved operational issues according to established governance and escalation procedures.


Process Improvement & Digitalization

  • Review, update, and maintain payroll and HR process documentation to support knowledge management and operational excellence.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements, automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, configuration reviews, and user acceptance testing activities.
  • Develop and maintain process blueprints, change documentation, and business requirement records.
  • Support payroll and HR operational activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transitions.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at improving service quality, efficiency, and employee experience.


Team Collaboration

  • Work independently within established procedures while managing complex payroll matters.
  • Contribute to a collaborative and knowledge-sharing team environment.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and training to junior team members and new joiners.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Mathematics, Commerce, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Payroll, HR Operations, or related HR shared services functions.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, statutory requirements, and compliance regulations.
  • Experience working with integrated payroll systems, preferably SAP.
  • Experience managing payroll vendors and stakeholder relationships is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of HR principles, payroll legislation, and employment regulations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage high-volume transactional processes accurately.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional employee support.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and multicultural environment.
