Are you a Technology Risk leader who actually understands the metal? We are partnering with a leading global organization to hire a IT Infrastructure Governance & Technology Risk Lead for the APAC region.

In many organizations, Governance and Risk sit in an ivory tower. This role is different. You will be operating directly at the intersection of IT Governance and Infrastructure Operations, ensuring that rigorous controls and risk-aware practices are embedded into the day-to-day delivery of enterprise technology services.

What You Will Drive: You will serve as the regional authority for IT controls, audit readiness, and risk remediation. Your primary mandate will be to standardize technology processes and compliance requirements across multiple APAC branches - balancing strict global frameworks with unique local regulatory needs.

When the auditors, red-teams, or pen-testers come knocking, you are the one ensuring the infrastructure estate is battle-ready. Beyond just passing audits, you will oversee the strategic remediation of any control weaknesses, turning findings into sustainable, automated improvements that permanently reduce risk. This involves heavy collaboration, partnering with local branch leads, technology service owners, and security specialists to drive adoption and resolve complex dependencies.

The Profile We Need: We are looking for a hybrid talent: someone with deep IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) expertise, but whose experience is heavily anchored in an IT Infrastructure or Operations environment.

• You have a proven track record of assessing technology risks, designing control frameworks, and managing complex remediation efforts to closure.
• You are highly skilled at standardizing processes across a fragmented regional landscape, knowing exactly when to enforce a regional standard and when to accommodate a justified local nuance.
• You possess strong analytical, root-cause analysis, and executive reporting skills, able to translate deep technical risks into clear management oversight.
• A background in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or Tech Risk Management is required, alongside a deep understanding of infrastructure operations.
