Automotive Photographer

About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Automotive Photographer to support vehicle photography and quality control operations. This role is responsible for photographing vehicles, editing images, verifying vehicle information, and managing photo content for upload to the Content Management System (CMS).

The successful candidate will work closely with relevant departments and stakeholders to ensure vehicles are photographed professionally and listed according to the scheduled timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with quality control checks for vehicles returned by suppliers and verify vehicle details before listing.
• Capture high-quality vehicle photographs that meet the company's standards and listing requirements.
• Plan photo composition, angles, lighting, and backgrounds to present vehicles professionally.
• Operate cameras, lighting equipment, and other photography tools effectively.
• Edit and enhance vehicle photographs using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, or other relevant software.
• Ensure vehicle photographs, specifications, and related content are accurate and uploaded to the CMS.
• Coordinate photography sessions and manage schedules with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Monitor the flow of vehicles through the photography process to ensure timely listing.
• Maintain, organize, and manage photography equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
• Archive and manage digital images systematically for easy retrieval and reference.
• Ensure all photographs meet quality standards and are completed within the required timeline.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Photography, Advertising, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in photography, advertising, or a related field.
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Lightroom.
• Strong understanding of photography techniques, lighting, composition, and image editing.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with different departments.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Knowledge or experience in Content Management Systems (CMS) will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic working environment.
