Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Technician role based in Selangor, Malaysia. The Technician will perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on building systems, equipment, and common facilities. Responsibilities include responding to maintenance requests, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating with external contractors when specialized work is required. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of work performed, monitoring safety and compliance standards, and supporting the property management team during building operations and emergencies. The Technician is expected to interact professionally with residents, vendors, and colleagues while ensuring a safe and orderly environment.

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform routine building maintenance, basic mechanical repairs, and minor electrical troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of facility safety standards, building operations, and proper use of tools and equipment.
  • Capability to read and follow technical manuals, maintenance schedules, and work orders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with property management and residents.
  • Willingness to work on-site, respond to urgent issues, and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Relevant technical certification or vocational training in building maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or related field is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in property, facility, or building maintenance is preferred.
