Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures to protect the organization's data, systems, and network infrastructure.
• Monitor security alerts, investigate suspicious activities, and troubleshoot security-related and network issues.
• Respond to security incidents, including investigating and managing system and network security breaches.
• Implement and maintain appropriate security controls to safeguard organizational data, systems, and infrastructure against cyber threats.
• Participate in the change management process to ensure security compliance and minimize potential risks.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and security testing to identify, evaluate, and address system and network vulnerabilities.
• Maintain and manage security tools, including firewalls, endpoint security solutions, and Microsoft Office 365 security configurations.
• Perform routine security administration, documentation, reporting, and communication with relevant internal departments.
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, industry trends, and hacking techniques to strengthen the organization's security posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, particularly in incident detection, incident response, and digital forensics.
• Hands-on experience with firewall configuration and maintenance, Microsoft Office 365 security, VSX, and endpoint security solutions.
• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages, such as Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node.js, Go, or PowerShell.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of cybersecurity principles, security best practices, emerging threats, and common attack techniques.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, with the ability to collaborate

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
