Job Description
Responsibilities
- Provide support on various aspects of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services.
- Carry out cost analyses and prepare cost estimates for MEP services.
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to calculate MEP project costs.
- Prepare and manage MEP contracts, including main and nominated sub-contracts.
- Measure and take off quantities for MEP work elements.
- Assess variation orders and prepare interim valuations.
- Compile and administer contract documents for execution.
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance of MEP works.
- Prepare and agree on final accounts for MEP projects.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on MEP matters; attend meetings as required.
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering from a recognized University/Institution
- At least 3 years postgraduate experience in the project management, cost estimate, tendering, pre and post contract administration of either mechanical or electrical disciplines may be considered for Senior Position
- Responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Good communication and written skills in English
- Applicants who hold a Degree in Building or Quantity Surveying, and are conversant with mechanical and electrical building services may also be considered.
