Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for E&I equipment.
- Ensure reliability and availability of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
- Analyse equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot switchgear, MCCs, transformers, UPS, generators, VFDs, motors, PLC, DCS, SIS/ESD, HMI, and SCADA systems.
- Manage calibration, loop checks, testing, and system performance improvements.
- Plan and execute E&I turnaround, shutdown, commissioning, and startup activities.
- Support CAPEX projects, plant modifications, and MOC processes.
- Coordinate contractors and vendors to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
- Ensure compliance with HSE, regulatory, and plant safety requirements.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts, inventory, technical documentation, and CMMS records.
- Provide technical guidance, training, and continuous improvement support.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics, Control & Automation Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of E&I maintenance experience in chemical, petrochemical, polymer, or manufacturing plants.
- Experience with electrical systems, instrumentation, DCS, PLC, SIS, and industrial automation.
- Knowledge of reliability maintenance, RCFA, risk assessment, and MOC processes.
- Proficient in SAP PM, GSAP, CMMS, or equivalent systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Committed to safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Willing to support plant operations, shutdowns, commissioning, contractor supervision, emergency response, and after-hours call-outs
