About the Role

We are hiring an Assistant Quality Assurance Manager for our manufacturing facility in Pasir Gudang, Johor. The role supports the QA Manager in managing product and process quality across production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspections
• Monitor product quality and customer requirements
• Investigate defects and customer complaints
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support CAPA, 8D, 5 Why, and continuous improvement activities
• Maintain quality procedures, SOPs, and inspection standards
• Support internal, customer, supplier, and certification audits
• Work closely with Production, Engineering, R&D, Purchasing, and Supply Chain
• Support new product development and first-piece approval
• Coach and guide QA/QC team members

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field
• Relevant QA/QC experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality problem-solving tools
• Experience in customer complaints, CAPA, audits, or supplier quality is preferred
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Mandarin communication is an advantage for coordination with our China team
