About the role

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Management Trainee (Retail Business) to join our team at Boon Lay Place.

This hands-on role offers opportunities to gain practical experience in retail operations, sales analysis, marketing, and business development. You will work closely with management to improve business performance and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience in retail sales, customer service, and daily store operations.
• Develop a strong understanding of the Company's products, sales processes, and business operations.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance, product trends, and customer buying behaviour.
• Assist in preparing sales reports, inventory planning, and product demand forecasting.
• Support the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, sales promotions, and product bundles.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities.
• Support the management of online sales channels and e-commerce platforms.
• Work closely with management to identify opportunities for operational improvements and business growth.
• Assist with other business-related duties and projects as assigned.

About You

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates and candidates without prior experience are welcome to apply.
• Strong interest in retail, sales, marketing, and business management.
• Willing to learn and actively participate in hands-on retail sales and store operations.
• Comfortable communicating with customers in both English and Mandarin.
• Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Self-motivated, responsible, proactive, and eager to learn.
• Able to work 5.5 days per week, including weekends and public holidays.
• Comfortable working in a customer-facing retail environment.
