About the role
Taibon is a Hong Kong product-development and IP character-licensing specialist, with in-house design and merchandising covering concept, product, marketing collateral, and special IP collaborations.

We are hiring a Key Account Manager to own key accounts, grow revenue, and connect buying teams, licensors, and internal stakeholders. The role needs commercial judgement, market sense, and comfort with data.

Key responsibilities

• Own key accounts as the main commercial contact, and build relationships with senior buying and marketing teams.

• Set account plans and promotional roadmaps that grow revenue and strengthen brand position.

• Read Hong Kong market, consumer, and competitor trends, and pitch new IP collaborations and line extensions.

• Lead campaigns and merchandise programmes from pitch through retail rollout.

• Build evidence-based proposals using market data, consumer insight, and AI tools for pitch decks and research synthesis.

• Work with merchandising on assortments that fit buyer criteria and target shoppers.

• Coordinate design, merchandising, logistics, and vendors so launches stay on lead time.

Requirements

• 5+ years in account management, business development, or sales in consumer products, retail, or character licensing in Hong Kong.

• Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with AI tools for pitch development and market research.

• Proven project management across tight lead times and multi-SKU rollouts.

• Efficient, self-disciplined, outgoing, and steady when plans are unclear.

• Fluent written and spoken Cantonese and English.

• Higher Diploma or Associate Degree.
