Adecco is partnering with a well-established international logistics organisation to recruit a Country Manager (Freight Forwarding & Logistics). This leadership role will be responsible for driving business growth, operational excellence, customer development, and overall P&L performance for the Singapore market.

The Job:

• Lead the Singapore business with full accountability for P&L, commercial performance, and operational execution.
• Drive business growth through strategic customer acquisition, key account development, and market expansion initiatives.
• Oversee freight forwarding, warehousing, transportation, and integrated logistics solutions to ensure service excellence.
• Develop and execute country-level business strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, carriers, and key industry stakeholders.
• Drive operational efficiency, profitability improvement, and continuous enhancement of business performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing management team while fostering a strong performance-driven culture.
• Work closely with regional stakeholders to identify growth opportunities, improve market positioning, and support long-term business objectives.

The Talent:

• Proven leadership experience in a Country Manager, Managing Director, General Manager, or senior business leadership capacity within the logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry.
• Strong understanding of airfreight, ocean freight, contract logistics, transportation, and integrated logistics solutions.
• Demonstrated success in P&L management, business growth, customer acquisition, and stakeholder management.
• Experience leading large teams and managing complex operational environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining operational discipline.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• Regional exposure and experience working within multinational organisations will be advantageous.
