Our client, a leading European MNC chemical manufacturer with a long-standing presence in Singapore, is looking for a Production Technician for its Antioxidant (AO) manufacturing plant on Jurong Island. You will work in both field and DCS panel operations, with structured training towards full plant familiarity.

What's on offer
• Basic salary up to $3,400
• Monthly allowances: Shift $500, Site $250, Transport $150, Food $50
• Night shift and ERT allowances on top
• Free company bus from Jurong East MRT
• 4/3/3/4 rotating shift, with the roster planned in advance
• Permanent position

Key responsibilities
• Operate production units, including the tank farm and utilities, in line with EHS rules, SOPs and the Production Engineer's instructions
• Carry out field routines: raw material and catalyst filling, SAMACO rounds, LOTO preparation, 5S rounds and filter change-outs
• Learn to operate the DeltaV DCS under the guidance of Senior/Lead Technicians
• Perform in-process sampling and testing, simple maintenance, and opening and boxing up of equipment
• Troubleshoot with supervisors, and keep process logbooks and shift handover records up to date
• Work with team members and contractors to complete plant tasks safely and on time
• Serve as a firefighting/ERT brigade member during emergencies, after a safe plant shutdown
• Take part in plant safety programmes (BBS/HEC) and report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions

Requirements
• Diploma or Nitec in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or a related engineering field
• At least 3 years of chemical plant experience (candidates with relevant chemical plant internship experience will also be considered)
• Basic understanding of chemical processes, with some exposure to DCS panel or field operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP PM experience is an advantage
• Able to work on Jurong Island on a 24/7 rotating shift schedule
