We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Lecturer/Lecturer in Information Technology & Artificial Intelligence to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, developing course materials, supervising students, and contributing to academic and programme development activities within the School.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and other academic activities for undergraduate and/or postgraduate programmes.
• Develop and update course materials, assessments, assignments, and teaching resources.
• Assess and provide constructive feedback on students’ academic performance.
• Supervise and mentor students in academic projects, research, and professional development.
• Contribute to curriculum development, programme review, and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Participate in research, publication, consultancy, and other scholarly activities.
• Stay updated with current developments and emerging technologies in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and related fields.
• Participate in faculty meetings, academic committees, accreditation activities, and other departmental initiatives.
• Undertake other academic responsibilities as assigned by the School/Faculty.

Requirements

• PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Minimum Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at higher education level is preferred. Candidates with relevant industry experience may also be considered.
• Strong commitment to teaching excellence, student development, and academic quality.
• Good communication, interpersonal, presentation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a multidisciplinary academic team.
• Experience in research, publications, or industry projects will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with relevant professional certifications or industry experience are encouraged to apply.

Pay: From RM4,000.00 per month
