Malaysian citizen

Possess a valid Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) Chargeman competency certificate – Class B0 (High Voltage), 33kV

Able to read diagrams and wiring schematics

Skilled in using single-line multimeters, insulation testers, clamp meters, and earth resistance testers

Knowledge of PLC, automation, VFD, and servo systems is an advantage

Familiar with MS IEC standards and TNB / NUR Power technical requirements

Willing to work 3 rotating shifts (minimum 240 hours per month)

Basic communication skills in English or Mandarin

Good communication, reporting, and teamwork skills

Responsible, reliable, and committed to safe working practices

Operate and maintain 33kV high-voltage substations, switchgear, and distribution boards

Carry out HV switching and power on/off changeovers according to established safety procedures

Perform routine inspections of transformers, switchgear, and protection relays and identify abnormalities

Install and repair LV distribution systems, motor controls, distribution boards, lighting, and power circuits

Troubleshoot contactors, breakers, relays, switches, and other electrical components

Support PLC, automation, VFD, and servo commissioning activities

Ensure compliance with MS IEC standards, TNB / NUR Power requirements, and site electrical safety procedures

The first hire will support NUR Power’s power supply works starting from 30 October 2026
