The Role
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
- Overseeing procurement, planning, and supply chain operations across the site
- Managing strategic KPIs including inventory turns, vendor performance, and cost reduction targets
- Driving supplier development initiatives, including low-cost region sourcing
- Leading import and export activities alongside inter-company order management
- Supporting ERP implementation and embedding lean principles across daily operations
- Managing excess and obsolete stock while keeping inventory within budget
- Recruiting, developing, and mentoring the wider materials team
You'll be a strong fit if you have:
- A Bachelor's Degree or above in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline
- At least 8 years of materials management experience within a multinational environment, including 3 or more years in a managerial capacity
- Solid knowledge of electronics, electrical, and mechanical commodity procurement
- Experience with ERP and warehouse management systems
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities
- A proactive approach to using AI tools to enhance decision-making and productivity
