Eames Consulting Hiring! Full Time Lead, Project Management Office - Infrastructure in - Ricebowl

Our client, a leading international bank, is building out the PMO within its infrastructure technology function and needs a Lead to run it. This is a hands-on role at the centre of the infrastructure portfolio. You will give senior management a clear, reliable picture of delivery, spend and capacity, and you will keep the machinery behind it working.

The core of the job is portfolio control. You will set and run the governance framework for the infrastructure book of work, produce the dashboards and management reporting that leadership uses to make decisions, and make sure actions agreed at governance forums are closed out.

You will also own the money. That means building the annual portfolio budget, tracking spend against it and working with finance, planning teams and suppliers to keep payments moving.

People are the third strand. You will forecast resource demand across projects, monitor utilisation and drive the hiring and onboarding needed to fill gaps.

Throughout, you will be the connection between infrastructure teams, business stakeholders and third-party vendors. Over time you will shape how the PMO works, tightening processes and lifting the standard of reporting.

Requirements

• A track record in a PMO or portfolio management role, ideally supporting infrastructure or technology change in financial services.
• Confidence managing budgets, forecasts and cost control at portfolio level.
• Experience working with third-party suppliers, from commercial tracking through to day-to-day relationships.
• A practical grasp of capacity planning and resource allocation.
• Comfort handling a busy, multi-project environment without losing accuracy.
• The credibility to communicate clearly with senior stakeholders as well as delivery teams.

Desirable

• PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM or a comparable qualification.
• Reporting and automation skills in Power BI, Power Automate or similar.
• Prior exposure to infrastructure governance inside a bank.
