Job Description
Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
Customer Service Department
Process customers’ bookings through emails.
Respond promptly to customer inquiries and request.
Advise sailing schedule to customer.
Update of SOC rates into the in-house booking system.
Create SOC TS DG items application.
Release of DG stickers.
Container Management Department
Monitor the container inventory to ensure sufficient containers to meet sales demand.
Submission of waiver (Detention charges, damage charges or any charges related to equipment).
Ensure the valid detention charges, damage charges or others relevant charges are collected from shipper/consignee.
Ensure the data are EDI & update correctly and timely in DCS.
Arrange trucking service for empty repo, on/offhire with trucking company.
Report preparation for trucking, empty repositioning, costing, on/off hire and free use.
Report preparation such as daily inventory report, long stay container in depot.
Requirements:
Equipped with good numeracy skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
Meticulous with details, possesses positive learning attitude and able to cope with fast pace working environment
Proficient in MS Words & Excel
