Join Madeleine’s, a renewed Macau-inspired café known for its Portuguese egg tarts, established in 1998.

We’re looking for a hands-on and enthusiastic Junior Chef to join our kitchen team. No prior experience making Portuguese egg tarts is required—you’ll have the opportunity to learn how to prepare and knead the tart dough.

Job Responsibilities

- Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations

- Prepare ingredients and follow recipes and portion standards

- Learn to prepare and knead dough for our Portuguese egg tarts

- Assist with baking, cooking and plating menu items

- Keep the kitchen, equipment and work areas clean and organised

- Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures

- Support the kitchen team during service and with other duties as needed

What We’re Looking For

- A positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Able to work well as part of a team

- Responsible, punctual and attentive to detail

- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage, but not required

Salary & Benefits

- Salary from $2,100 per month

- 6 off days per month
