Role Description The Performance Tester role is a contract, on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The individual in this role will design and execute performance and load tests to validate application scalability, stability, and responsiveness under varying workloads. Day-to-day tasks include defining test strategies, preparing test scenarios and scripts, configuring test environments, and running performance test cycles. The Performance Test Engineer will monitor and analyze performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot issues, and provide clear test reports and recommendations for optimization. The role also involves maintaining testing tools, ensuring test coverage aligns with project requirements, and adhering to established quality and documentation standards.

Qualifications

Description:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or

a related field (or equivalent professional qualification).

* Certification in any relevant Performance Testing tool is an added advantage.

* Minimum of 6–9 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA).

* At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Loadrunner/Jmeter and Performance

Testing.

* Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English.

* Good understanding of AI prompting and capabilities is an added advantage.
