  • Facilitate technical discussions with designers, consultants, contractors and relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide engineering recommendations to improve design practicality, construction efficiency and technical performance.
  • Ensure design changes and technical revisions are properly reviewed, documented and communicated.

3. Technical Review & Construction Support

  • Review and approve technical proposals, construction methodologies and engineering solutions within delegated authority.
  • Oversee the preparation and coordination of general construction site layout plans and technical execution arrangements.
  • Provide technical guidance and engineering support to site construction teams.
  • Coordinate the resolution of complex engineering and construction-related technical issues.
  • Ensure construction activities follow approved engineering drawings, specifications and relevant technical requirements.
  • Support technical evaluations of materials, equipment and construction methods.

4. Quality Assurance & Quality Control (QAQC)

  • Coordinate with QAQC teams to ensure quality requirements are integrated into engineering and construction activities.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of relevant quality management procedures and inspection processes.
  • Monitor technical non-conformances and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support quality audits, technical inspections and compliance reviews.
  • Promote consistent application of quality standards across engineering disciplines.

5. Engineering Documentation & Information Coordination

  • Oversee the coordination of technical documentation and information-sharing processes across relevant departments.
  • Ensure engineering drawings, technical submissions, approvals, revisions and other project documents are properly managed.
  • Establish effective procedures for communicating technical updates, design changes and outstanding issues.
  • Coordinate with the DC function to support document tracking, information accuracy and timely resolution of documentation-related matters.
  • Ensure technical records are available to relevant stakeholders when required.

6. Cross-Functional Coordination & Problem Resolution

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Construction Managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal engineering teams.
  • Lead discussions to resolve major multidisciplinary design, technical and quality issues.
  • Facilitate timely decision-making when engineering concerns affect project progress or execution.
