About the role

We are seeking a Network Engineer to support a government client's network infrastructure, working closely with the ATAL team.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls and wireless equipment.

• Monitor network availability and performance, investigate incidents and resolve connectivity issues.

• Perform approved network upgrades, firmware updates and configuration changes.

• Follow the client's security requirements, operational procedures and change approval processes.

• Maintain accurate network diagrams, configuration records, backups and incident reports.

• Coordinate with ATAL personnel and government client representatives on daily operations and technical matters.

• Handle sensitive information with care and maintain confidentiality.

About you

• Relevant experience in enterprise network administration and technical support.

• Sound knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching, VPNs and firewall policies.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to technical work.

• High attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures and document changes accurately.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA or CCNP, would be an advantage.

• Experience supporting government or other tightly controlled IT environments would be an advantage.

• Available to work Monday to Saturday, 09:00–18:00.
