JOB REQUIREMENT

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) or a related field.
• Must possess a valid Green Book as a registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with DOSH/JKKP.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in occupational safety and health, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience in data centre, M&E, or large-scale construction projects will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of OSH legislation, HIRARC, risk assessment, site safety inspections, incident investigations, and safety documentation.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, leadership, and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with project teams and subcontractors.
• Willing to travel and be based on-site at the assigned project location.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Assist in developing and implementing safety policies in compliance with OSH & FMA Acts and regulations.
• Maintain and communicate Emergency Response Plan (ERP) information to relevant personnel.
• Conduct risk assessments (HIRARC/JHA) and ensure effective control measures are in place.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and implement appropriate preventive measures.
• Coordinate safety training with subcontractors for hazardous or new operations.
• Review and improve the Safety Management System in line with site progress.
• Manage in implementing and maintaining the Occupational Health and Safety Management System in accordance with ISO 45001 requirements.
• Inspect workplace, machinery, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Lead incident investigations and submit reports to relevant authorities.
• Liaise with authorities and stakeholders on safety matters.
• Monitor and analyze HSSE data and recommend improvements.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
