Job Description
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in the fabrication of precision machine parts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing stable, repeatable, controlled and cost-effective manufacturing processes that consistently produce conforming parts in accordance with customer requirements, engineering drawings, quality standards and delivery schedules.
Job Responsibilities
- Review engineering drawings and technical requirements
- Develop and plan manufacturing processes
- Develop and optimize CNC machining processes
- Monitor and improve cycle times and machining efficiency
- Develop tooling, fixtures and workholding solutions
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and First Article Inspection (FAI)
- Conduct problem-solving, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, including:
- - Process Sheets- Setup Sheets- Tooling Lists- Work Instructions- Cycle-Time Standards
- Provide costing support and manage engineering/process changes
- Control and maintain NC/CNC programs
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with AS9100 requirements
- Assist in ISO/AS9100 audits and related activitiesRequirements
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing or Precision Engineering
- 3–5 years of experience in CNC machining or manufacturing
- Experience in aerospace precision machining is an advantage
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and manufacturing principles
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Technical Skills
- CNC Milling: 3-axis, 4-axis & 5-axis machining
- CNC machine setup, workholding and tooling
- CNC programming and machining principles
- Fixture design and GD&T
- CAD/CAM knowledge
- Cycle-time estimation and improvement
- Root-cause analysis and problem solving
- First Article Inspection (FAI)
- AS9100 manufacturing controls
- Mastercam and SolidWorks experience is an advantage
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
