Role Description

• Plan, coordinate, execute, and monitor the overall progress of TNB substation projects, including electrical and civil works, from project commencement to completion.
• Lead and manage project engineers and site teams to ensure project activities are completed within the targeted timeline, budget, and required quality standards.
• Monitor site progress, team performance, and work efficiency to ensure compliance with project specifications, technical requirements, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with TNB, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
• Supervise and monitor subcontractors' and suppliers' performance to ensure work is carried out according to project requirements.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly while ensuring effective coordination and timely decision-making.
• Prepare and maintain accurate project reports, progress updates, and site documentation, including liaison with relevant authorities.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations throughout project implementation.
• Lead project management activities and drive the successful, timely, and efficient delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power Systems.
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in electrical infrastructure projects.
• Direct experience in TNB grid development works is mandatory.

• Must be someone who takes charge - not a passenger, but a driver.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with TNB standards, authority procedures, and safety compliance.
• Able to start work immediately or with short notice.
