Are you a data leader passionate about building a strong enterprise data foundation, driving data governance, and enabling AI-powered business transformation?

At QSR Brands, we are looking for an experienced Head of Data Platform & Governance to lead the development of our Group’s enterprise data platform, architecture, engineering, master data, data quality, and governance capabilities across our brands and business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enterprise Data Platform: Lead the Group’s enterprise data architecture, platform development, integration, and implementation roadmap.
• Data Engineering & Operations: Ensure reliable, scalable, and timely data pipelines and platform services.
• Master Data Management: Establish trusted master data and unified customer identities across brands, systems, and channels.
• Data Governance & Quality: Drive data ownership, standards, quality monitoring, accessibility, and accountability across the Group.
• Privacy & Compliance: Strengthen data privacy, consent management, data-access controls, and regulatory compliance.
• AI Enablement & Governance: Build the data and technology foundation for AI and machine-learning solutions, including responsible AI practices and model governance.
• Platform Performance & Cost Management: Optimise platform performance and cloud expenditure while managing technology partners and vendors.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Build and develop high-performing data teams while partnering with business, product, analytics, technology, cybersecurity, legal, and other key stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. A relevant master’s degree is an advantage.
• Extensive experience in data engineering, enterprise data platforms, data architecture, or data management.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary data teams and building or managing enterprise data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms, data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse platforms, data integration, and APIs.
• Experience in data governance, data quality, master data management, customer identity resolution, and data privacy.
• Understanding of AI/ML production environments, AI governance, and responsible AI practices.
• Experience managing cloud costs, technology vendors, and strategic technology investments.
• Experience in high-volume consumer businesses such as QSR, retail, e-commerce, telecommunications, or financial services will be an advantage.
• Professional proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
