Role Description The Lead Java Developer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ampang. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of Java-based applications, with a focus on scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Day-to-day tasks include translating business requirements into technical designs, implementing microservices and Spring-based components, reviewing code, and ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. The Lead Java Developer will mentor and guide development team members, coordinate with architects and product owners, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reliable software. Additional responsibilities include troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing application performance, contributing to architectural decisions, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.
Qualifications

• Strong software development skills, including experience designing and implementing robust, scalable enterprise applications.
• Proficiency in Java and core programming concepts, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, including designing, implementing, and integrating distributed services.
• Deep knowledge of the Spring Framework (e.g., Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security) for building backend services and APIs.
• Experience leading technical teams, providing mentorship, conducting code reviews, and driving engineering best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and modern build tools and testing frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and containerization technologies is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional environment.
