About the role
Akila Global Pte Ltd is looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to support electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and replacement works involving Automated crane.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation and replacement works on crane electrical systems and components.
- Support work involving electrical wiring, power cables, cable terminations and related components.
- Assist with gantry cable reel reducer and motor assembly replacement, including associated cable work where assigned and authorised.
- Follow approved work procedures, electrical isolation arrangements and site safety requirements.
- Carry out inspections and functional checks relevant to the assigned work.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other trades during maintenance activities.
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas safely.
About you
- Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical maintenance or technician experience.
- Practical experience relevant to industrial electrical systems and maintenance work.
- Must be competent and appropriately qualified or certified for the electrical tasks assigned.
- Able to follow safety instructions and work procedures.
- Willing to work at SG Port Terminal locations as required.
- Experience with SG port terminal.
- Competency or certification required for electrical or high-voltage work must be verified before assignment to such work.
