Job Description
- Prepare and review corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Manage tax planning and optimisation strategies to minimise tax liabilities.
- Assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities as required.
- Provide guidance on tax implications of business transactions and strategies.
- Maintain accurate tax records and documentation for internal and external audits.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with internal departments to address tax-related issues.
- Support the preparation of financial statements with accurate tax provisions.
A Successful Tax Accountant Should Have
- Relevant professional qualifications in accounting, finance, or taxation.
- Experience in tax compliance, planning, and advisory work.
- Strong knowledge of local tax regulations and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Month salary ranging from MYR 6,500 to MYR 7,500.
- Permanent employment in the industrial/manufacturing industry.
