We are looking for a passionate, driven, and experienced trainer (full-time and part-time) to manage the Gym Tonic program and to support therapists in delivering aquatic therapy sessions at Perennial Living, Singapore's first private assisted living development. This role combines hands-on training, programme oversight, outreach, and operational leadership, working closely with residents and seniors in the community.

Key Responsibilities

Fitness Training

Conduct and supervise Gym Tonic strength training programmes for elderly participants.

Perform physical fitness and functional assessments (pre- and post-programme).

Customise and refine training programmes based on established Gym Tonic protocols and participant needs.

Analyse fitness data and prepare outcome reports.

Support daily gym operations, ensuring safety, professionalism, and service quality.

Oversee general maintenance, cleanliness, and hygiene of gym facilities.

Participate/attend Gym Tonic Community of Practice (COP) workgroup meetings, training and continued education.

Hydrotherapy

Prepare and maintain the hydrotherapy pool, treatment areas, and equipment to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Assist therapists in delivering hydrotherapy and aquatic rehabilitation programmes for clients with a range of rehabilitation needs.

Support client safety by assisting with pool entry and exit, supervising clients during sessions, and reporting any concerns to the therapist.

Perform operational duties including equipment checks, documentation, and general administrative support.

Requirements

At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in fitness, wellness, rehabilitation, or geriatric-related settings
