Architectural Coordinator

About the role

Supports the design and construction process by coordinating architectural works among consultants, authorities, contractors, and internal teams. Ensures that architectural drawings, submissions, and site works are aligned with project requirements, regulatory approvals, and construction schedules. Works closely with the Project Manager and site team to resolve technical and coordination issues, support engineering scopes, manage defects, and deliver architectural works on time and to required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage all architectural works on site in accordance with approved drawings and specifications from concept to construction stage

• Review and manage architectural drawings, shop drawings, and material submissions

• Ensure workmanship quality, compliance, and timely rectification of defects

• Coordinate closely with Project Manager, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve site and technical issues

• Support site coordination and engineering scopes as required to meet project schedule and quality objectives

• Review drawings and documents for compliance with project standards, authority requirements, and coordination with other disciplines

• Prepare and manage architectural coordination drawings and details

• Identify discrepancies between architectural, structural, and M&E, BIM drawings and highlight to consultants

• Conduct site inspections and quality checks; monitor workmanship standards and finishing quality

• Manage defects rectification works during TOP and DLP, ensure timely closure of defects

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture & Building or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of relevant architectural site experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
