TP Engineering Associates Hiring! Full Time Blue-Collar Recruiter – Engineering, Mining - Construction in - Ricebowl

We are looking for an experienced Blue-Collar Recruiter with strong recruitment experience across the Engineering, Mining and Construction sectors, particularly within the Perth focused, covering across Australian market.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, maintaining and mobilising skilled blue-collar and selected white-collar resources for daily, weekly, short-term, project-based and ongoing workforce requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment for blue-collar roles across Engineering, Mining and Construction.
• Source and maintain a strong pipeline of readily available candidates for short-term, daily, weekly, project and ongoing requirements.
• Recruit and screen candidates against client requirements, qualifications, skills, experience, availability and relevant tickets/licences.
• Maintain and continuously develop a strong Australian candidate database and talent pool.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to understand workforce requirements and provide suitable candidates within required timelines.
• Handle high-volume and urgent recruitment requirements while maintaining quality and compliance.
• Conduct candidate pre-screening, reference checks and relevant documentation checks.
• Support candidate mobilisation and onboarding processes where required.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment activity within internal systems/ATS.
• Build strong relationships with candidates, contractors and clients across the Australian market.
• Proactively identify and engage candidates rather than relying solely on job advertisements.

Essential Requirements

• Proven recruitment experience within the Australian market – mandatory.
• Demonstrated experience recruiting blue-collar/skilled trades within Engineering, Mining and/or Construction.
• Experience covering both blue-collar and white-collar roles within the relevant industries.
• Strong understanding of the Australian recruitment and employment market.
• Established and active candidate database/network, particularly for skilled trades and site-based resources.
• Ability to source candidates quickly for daily, weekly, short-term and urgent requirements.
• Good understanding of relevant Australian qualifications, licences, tickets and site requirements.
• Strong candidate engagement, screening and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple vacancies simultaneously.

Desirable

• Experience recruiting for FIFO, shutdown, maintenance, project and contract workforce requirements.
• Existing network of candidates across mining, construction and engineering.
• Experience recruiting candidates for major Australian projects/sites.
• Knowledge of Australian mobilisation, compliance and onboarding requirements.
• Experience working with recruitment agencies, labour hire, RPO or workforce solutions providers.
