Role Description The Materials Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kertih, responsible for overseeing the flow, storage, and availability of materials to support operational and project needs. This role includes monitoring inventory levels, coordinating material ordering and replenishment, and ensuring accurate documentation in inventory systems. The Materials Coordinator will manage material handling activities, including receipt, storage, labeling, and internal distribution, while maintaining safety and compliance standards. The position also involves daily communication with vendors, internal teams, and other stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, optimize material usage, and support continuous improvement in materials and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Inventory Control and Inventory Management to maintain accurate stock levels and records.
• Candidates should possess practical experience in Material Handling and Materials Management to ensure safe, efficient movement and storage of materials.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to coordinate with suppliers, internal departments, and project teams.
• Candidates should possess attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with inventory or ERP software, and basic data analysis skills for reporting and forecasting.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of workplace safety standards related to materials handling, with prior experience in industrial or operations settings considered an advantage.
• Candidates should possess a relevant diploma or degree in supply chain, logistics, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
