Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate events end-to-end, from concept and budgeting to logistics and on-site execution
Plan and drive member engagement activities, track and monitor sign-ups, and follow up to maximise participation andmember satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments and committees to shape event concepts aligned with organisational goals
Promote events across a range of communication and social media channels
Take on ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of Department and C-Suite
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in any discipline
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Strong language ability with demonstrated proficiency in written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Canva or similar design tools for creating event collaterals and social media content
Ability to work independently but also as a team player
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Prior experience in event management, membership services, or secretariat support is an advantage
Meticulous with strong attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and manage internal and external stakeholders across seniority
The Law Society was established under the Legal Profession Act in 1967. It carries out various statutory functions, including:
Representing, protecting and assisting members of the legal profession in Singapore; promoting in any manner the Society thinks fit the interests of the legal profession in Singapore; and
Facilitating the acquisition of legal knowledge by members of the legal profession
Maintaining and improving the standards of conduct and learning of the legal profession in Singapore
Protecting and assisting the public in all matters ancillary or incidental to the law.
Every Singapore lawyer who has in force a practising certificate is automatically a member of the Law Society. Certain categories of foreign lawyers registered with the
Legal Services Regulatory Authority
are also automatically members of the Law Society.

Pro Bono Services Office

The Council of the Law Society, which consists of 5 statutory members and elected members, manages the affairs of the Law Society and ensures the proper performance of its functions under the Legal Profession Act.
