Job Summary:

This role involves performing in-process quality inspections during production in a food manufacturing environment, monitoring GMP, hygiene, and food safety practices on the production floor.

Duties and responsibilities included but not limited to:

Quality Control

1. Conduct daily quality inspections and monitor production processes.

2. Conduct inspections of incoming materials and finished products.

3. Conduct basic quality checks such as appearance, color, texture, weight, PH, moisture, Brix and other relevant specification.

4. Verify product identification, batch details, raw material usage and labelling accuracy.

5. Identify and report quality issues, abnormalities and non-conformances to the immediate superior.

6. Assist in product segregation, on-hold control and product release verification.

7. Ensure quality inspection results and records are completed accurately.

GMP, Hygiene & Food Safety

8. Monitor production areas to ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, Halal & food safety requirements.

9. Monitor hygiene, sanitation and cleanliness practices in the production area.

10. Report any practices or conditions that may affect product quality or food safety.

QA Support

11. Maintain QA/QC records, specifications, reports and other related documents.

12. Assist in handling NCR, CAPA and customer complaints.

13. Assist in internal, customer, Halal and certification audits.

14. Follow up on corrective actions and quality issues with the relevant departments.

15. Support product traceability and other food safety activities when required.

16. Coordinate product testing and review laboratory results when required.

Coordination

17. Work closely with Production, Warehouse, R&D and other relevant departments to resolve quality issues.

18. Perform other quality control and related duties as assigned by the immediate superior or Management.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, or related field.

- 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC within the FMCG or food manufacturing sector.

- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO, or FSSC 22000 standards.

- Strong attention to detail & analytical thinking

- Skilled in quality testing, SOPs, and documentation

- Good communication & teamwork

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Able to work under pressure & meet deadlines

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Experience:

• QA/QC: 2 years (Preferred)
