About our client

Our client is an established manufacturer of sand control screens and downhole completion equipment for the global oil & gas industry. Operating since 2003 to ISO 9001 and API Spec Q1 standards, it supplies a leading oilfield service company. Its products are used across South America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

Job details

• Location: Tuas (West)
• Salary: $2,800 – $3,500 per month
• Working hours: Day hours to be advised
• Employment: Permanent, full time

Key responsibilities

• Support the Quality Manager and Quality Engineers in implementing the Quality Management System
• Review and sign off material certificates, certificates of conformance and test reports; liaise with suppliers and customers on certificate matters
• Coordinate third-party inspector (TPI) activities to the inspection plan schedule
• Maintain the calibrated measuring equipment log and ensure only calibrated tools are used
• Maintain QMS documents, customer and international specifications, work instructions, forms and training records
• Compile quality documentation packages (dossiers) and check them before release to customers
• Assist in customer complaint and internal quality investigations and CAPA
• Support process studies, 5S, Lean and departmental KPIs

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering
• Entry-level role; no prior working experience required
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, QMS, quality control and measuring tools is an advantage
• Meticulous, with good document-control and Excel skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
