Responsibilities
A reputable Global Bank who is looking for a high-caliber candidate to join their Hong Kong office. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the bank
Responsible for producing comprehensive investment reports, house view and outlook
Perform financial market research and conduct in-depth macroeconomic to identify investment opportunities and risk across multi-asset classes
Proactively communicate with business stakeholders on complex investment ideas but not limited to portfolio managers, relationship managers and individual clients
Prepare market commentaries and presentations for internal business stakeholders
Collaborate with portfolio management, investment advisory to ensure the effective implementation of investment strategies
Keep abreast of market trends, regulatory changes and competitive landscape
Requirements:
Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative qualification
CFA holder is highly preferred
With minimum of 7 years of experience in research, investment writer, investment analyst in banking industry or financial institution
Able to produce macroeconomic analysis, financial modelling and asset allocation independently
Strong knowledge of investment products and capital markets
Solid experience in public speaking is needed
Excellent written skills and communication skills to articulate complex investment idea clearly
Skills in Bloomberg, Marcobond, FactSet and advanced Excel are MUST. Knowledge of Python and coding are definitely advantage
Fluency/Native in English is required, proficiency in Mandarin is a plus
