Currently, for the new Seargin project we are looking for SAP BI Consultant (SAP BW/4HANA).

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who can lead a delivery team, stay close enough to the technology to have an informed opinion, and raise the standard of how the team works. This is a hands-on management role. You will not be writing features week to week, but you will be reading code, reviewing designs, interrogating defects and making technical calls

Requirements:

• Professional Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP BW.
• BI & Data Warehousing: Strong expertise in Business Intelligence, data warehousing concepts, and data modeling.
• SAP BW Technologies: Proven experience with SAP BW/4HANA and/or SAP BW on HANA.
• ABAP Development: Working knowledge of ABAP for development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Proactive, collaborative mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an interest in technical leadership.
• Communication: Fluency in English, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and solution designs.
• Design, develop, and enhance SAP BW/4HANA data models, including ADSOs, CompositeProviders, and data flows, in line with architectural standards and best practices.
• Analyze and optimize existing data models, data loads, transformations, and reporting processes to improve performance and efficiency.
• Implement changes and enhancements while ensuring solution stability, data integrity, and backward compatibility.
• Prepare and execute unit and integration tests, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assist business users during validation.
• Monitor data pipelines and provide operational support for ServiceNow incidents and requests during agreed working hours, within the capacity and SLAs defined in this SOW.
• Support go-live activities and provide post-go-live hypercare for a mutually agreed period and capacity, subject to the remaining person-days and financial cap under this SOW.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, data models, data flows, integration specifications, and operational procedures.
• Provide continuous knowledge transfer to the internal BW team through regular technical and functional sessions, solution walkthroughs, and design reviews.
• Support the final handover through shadowing, reverse shadowing, and validation of the internal team's readiness to take over operations.
