ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking a visionary, versatile, and brand-focused Creative Manager to lead our end-to-end creative direction. In this role, you will define and execute the visual identity of Borneo Pearls across digital platforms, retail store environments, promotional campaigns, packaging, and product marketing materials.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Brand & Creative Strategy

Oversee and evolve the overall visual identity, brand guidelines, and aesthetic direction of Borneo Pearls.

Develop compelling visual concepts for new product launches, seasonal collections (e.g., festive campaigns, travel exclusives), and promotional events.

2. Marketing & Content Production

Design high-quality graphics for social media (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), digital ads, e-commerce, and email marketing.

Direct and plan photo and video shoots (lifestyle, studio product photography, and model shoots) from concept and storyboarding to final retouching.

Write or review engaging brand copy for visual assets, social media, product descriptions, and promotional collateral.

3. Retail & Packaging Design

Create engaging offline retail collateral, including point-of-sale (POS) displays, in-store posters, promotional banners, and airport retail signage.

Lead conceptual design and enhancements for jewelry packaging, gift boxes, display trays, pouches, and authenticity certificates.

4. E-Commerce & Web Aesthetics

Collaborate on optimizing the visual UI/UX layout of the Borneo Pearls website and digital storefronts to enhance customer experience and elevate brand perception.

5. Management & Execution

Manage creative projects from concept to final print/digital delivery, ensuring deadlines and budgets are strictly met.

Liaise with external vendors, printers, packaging suppliers, and content creators/photographers to guarantee output quality.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in creative direction, graphic design, or brand management. Experience in jewelry, luxury goods, fashion, travel retail, or lifestyle brands is highly preferred.

Technical Skills: Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro/Lightroom). Familiarity with Canva, Figma, or basic video editing apps for social media is a plus.

Portfolio: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing branding, product marketing campaigns, packaging design, and visual storytelling.

Visual Eye: Deep understanding of layout design, typography, color theory, product styling, and luxury aesthetics.

Soft Skills: Excellent project management, communication, and creative problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Languages: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin is a plus.

Consistency and elevation of brand visual standards across all customer touchpoints.

On-time and on-budget delivery of campaign materials, packaging, and digital assets.

Engagement growth and visual quality on digital marketing and social channels.
