Overseas Family School Hiring! Full Time Audio Visual – Lighting Technician in - Ricebowl

Overseas Family School is looking for an Audio Visual LightingTechnician who is passionate about live events and hands-on with equipment. This role requires technical expertise in lighting equipment, creativity in design, and attention to detail to ensure the visual quality of the live events.

Roles &Responsibilities

• Setup and operate Audio Visual systems such as audio console and projectors during live events, ensuring seamless audio and video performance.
• Setup AV equipment such as microphones, sound speakers, projectors, connecting wires and cables for school events.
• Setup programmes and operates lighting consoles to create visual effects for school live events, eg. musicals, performing arts concerts and graduations.
• Provide real-time technical support and troubleshooting during live events.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on AVL equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
• Work closely with event coordinators and teachers, to deliver technical solutions.
• Work 5.5 day per week and occasional evenings overtime based on event schedules
  
  

Requirements

• Good knowledge in sound system and able to do live mix on both analog & digital audio console.
• Good knowledge of lighting console preferably ChamSys & Avolites system.
• Willingness to learn and grow in the live event industry.
  
  

Qualifications &Experience

• Diploma or Higher Nitec/Nitec certificate in electrical engineering, media production, or lighting & sound technology.
• 1–3 years’ experience in live sound mixing & Audio Visual.
