Job Description

• Act as the main focal point for new vessel delivery preparations, coordinating with the ship manager, shipyards, and internal departments for schedule management, invoice settlement, and ceremony arrangements
• Manage the financial aspects of vessel ownership and operation which includes instructing the ship manager on budget preparation, reviewing and reporting budgets, closely monitoring and analyzing the Budget vs Actual for the vessels
• Manage internal and external stakeholders and establish ONE’s standard operating procedure (prepare templates, checklists, documents, instructions, etc.) for the entire ship owning activity
• Lead response coordination during vessel incidents; liaise with internal and external stakeholders to effectively resolve the issues and prepare countermeasures
• Support in any tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in business or maritime studies or other relevant discipline
• Minimum one to three years' experience in a shipping company preferably at ship owning related department
• Knowledge of maritime law, accounting, or vessel operations is highly preferred
• Meticulous and highly organized with a strong sense of ownership, a big team player and a proactive fast learner
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills and a creative problem-solver
• Possess analytical and risk-management mindset and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of the charter parties, ship-management contract and other relevant contracts will be beneficial
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
