Job Summary

Our client, a company in the wines (import & distribution) industry, is looking for a Event Marketing Executive based in SUNWAY DAMANSARA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media marketing strategies to promote the event space and attract potential customers.
• Create and manage engaging content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and other relevant platforms.
• Promote the venue for different occasions including corporate events, private functions, wine events, product launches, workshops, celebrations and other gatherings.
• Generate leads through social media, online platforms, partnerships and other marketing channels.
• Respond to enquiries, provide venue information, quotations and packages, and follow up with potential customers.
• Coordinate site visits and venue viewings with prospective clients.
• Build relationships with event organisers, corporate clients, event planners, F&B businesses and other potential partners.
• Assist in developing promotional packages, campaigns and special offers to increase bookings.
• Monitor competitors, market trends and other event venues to identify new marketing opportunities.
• Track enquiries, bookings, marketing activities and conversion results.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the venue is properly prepared for confirmed events.
• Collect customer feedback and maintain good relationships with existing clients for repeat bookings and referrals.
• Perform other marketing and business development duties assigned by Management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Events Management, Mass Communications, Business or related field.
• –2 years of experience in event marketing, digital marketing, venue sales, hospitality, F&B or related industries.
• Strong understanding of social media marketing and content creation.
• Good communication, presentation and customer service skills.
• Confident in handling enquiries, following up with leads and converting prospects into bookings.
• Creative, proactive and target-oriented.
• Experience with Canva, Meta Business Suite, TikTok or other digital marketing tools is an advantage.
• Comfortable conducting venue tours and meeting potential customers.
• Willing to occasionally support events outside normal working hours when required.
