Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing process for assigned business units.
• Support business management review by analysing monthly financial results against budget, forecast, prior year, and operational expectations.
• Prepare meaningful analysis on revenue, cost, margin, EBITDA, working capital and key financial indicators.
• Highlight performance gaps, emerging risks, cost pressures and areas requiring management attention.
• Support annual budget, business planning and rolling forecast exercises for assigned business units.
• Investigate significant financial variances and identify the underlying root causes rather than merely reporting movements.
• Support intelligent automation and AI-driven finance improvements, including the redesign of manual workflows, automation of recurring reconciliations or reporting tasks, dashboarding, exception reporting, and process standardisation.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Possess professional qualifications such as ICAEW, ACCA, CPA, MIA, CIMA or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, tax and finance operations.
• Experience in healthcare, PLCs, or large-group reporting environments is an advantage.
• Proven track record in financial close, statutory audit, tax compliance, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Exposure to finance transformation, system implementation, automation and AI-driven process improvements is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
