Job Description
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all electrical construction activities from installation through testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Oversee contractor performance, productivity, quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
- Coordinate electrical works with CSA, Mechanical, Process, and Commissioning teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Review construction methodologies, work packages, method statements, and installation plans.
- Monitor installation of electrical systems including substations, switchgear, transformers, power distribution, generators, UPS, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
- Identify construction risks, technical issues, and schedule constraints, and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead site coordination meetings, progress reviews, and contractor performance discussions.
- Collaborate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure adherence to project quality and safety standards.
- Review progress reports, construction status updates, variations, and contractor claims.
- Support testing, energization, commissioning, punch list closure, and final project handover.
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical construction management on large-scale projects.
- Proven experience delivering Industrial, Semiconductor, Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Manufacturing, Life Sciences, or High-Tech Facility projects.
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, installation standards, testing, and commissioning processes.
- Experience managing multiple contractors and stakeholders in complex construction environments.
