Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain MES-related systems that meet business requirements for manufacturing operations.
• Translate business requirements into MES solutions with an end-to-end view, working closely with the Factory Automation team to stay aligned.
• Provide operational support and maintenance for the current MES, including MES integrations and related satellite applications.
• Continuously improve MES-related systems, and build new MES supporting applications as business needs arise.
• Design and develop solutions using current technologies so that equipment, MES, SAP, reporting and other systems can communicate with each other.
• Support automation initiatives across front-end, test and back-end operations through Web Services, Windows Services, Camstar API and .NET Core development.
• Own MES-related factory operation issues, carry out root cause analysis, and put corrective and preventive actions in place.
• Share knowledge and give technical guidance to help the team grow.
  
  

Qualifications

REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in MES development and support in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with Camstar / Opcenter MES, including the Camstar API.
• Strong development skills in C#, .NET Core, Web Services and Windows Services.
• Experience integrating MES with equipment, SAP and reporting systems.
• Good working knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience in semiconductor or storage manufacturing, covering front-end, test and back-end operations.
• Exposure to MES upgrades, migrations or modernisation projects.
• Familiarity with change control processes, release management and IT governance.
• Experience with source control and modern deployment practices.
  
  

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with hands-on experience in root cause analysis and CAPA.
• Able to turn business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, especially when working with Automation, Manufacturing and business teams.
• Able to handle production issues calmly and set priorities in a 24x7 factory environment.
• Willing to coach and share knowledge with team members.
• Self-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and a mindset of continuous improvement.
