[Open to applicants who DO NOT need to apply work pass, as we DO NOT have WP quota now.]

About the role

Join our Process Technology team and help solve real manufacturing problems. You’ll investigate defects in foam products through hands-on inspection and testing, support production trials, and work with Engineering, Quality and Production to identify root causes and verify that fixes work on the production floor.

What you’ll do
  • Prepare, label and track samples for failure analysis, ensuring each sample can be traced throughout the investigation.
  • Perform visual inspections, dimensional checks, basic material and process tests, and equipment-assisted analysis.
  • Document test conditions, observations, measurements, photographs and results clearly so teams can act on your findings.
  • Work with Engineering, Quality and Production to verify defects, support containment, investigate root causes and check the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Support production trials and use test findings to help identify process improvements.
  • Keep tools, gauges, fixtures and test equipment ready for use. Monitor calibration status and consumable supplies, and maintain a safe, organised work area.
  • Escalate recurring defects, abnormal findings, equipment issues and safety or quality risks promptly. Follow approved test methods, work instructions, and safety and quality procedures.
What we’re looking for
  • A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Around three years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, laboratory testing, process support or failure analysis is preferred for the Engineer role.
  • Fresh graduates and candidates with around one year of relevant experience are welcome to apply and may be considered for the Associate Engineer role. Relevant internship or academic project experience is welcome.
  • Ability to carry out inspections and measurements, operate test equipment safely and perform basic troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with defect classification, sample traceability, root-cause analysis and corrective action.
  • Attention to detail, clear communication and the ability to manage priorities and meet investigation timelines.
What we offer
  • Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) and performance bonus.
  • Learning and development opportunities, including exposure to AI tools and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
  • Group medical and accident insurance.
  • Annual dinner and dance, appreciation lunches and staff welfare activities.
  • Opportunities to work with regional teams where the role requires it.
