Loaf & Latté by Taylor's Culinary Institute is looking for enthusiastic and customer-oriented individuals to join our café team as a Junior Barista or Barista.

Whether you're starting your career in the F&B industry or already have experience in coffee preparation, we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a passion for delivering good food, coffee and customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages and other menu items according to our recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines and café equipment.
• Provide friendly, attentive and efficient customer service.
• Take customer orders and handle POS transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the café, including the counter, equipment and dining area.
• Monitor beverage ingredients and assist with stock replenishment.
• Follow daily opening, closing and operational procedures.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily café operations.

Requirements

• Positive attitude, responsible and willing to learn.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Punctual, disciplined and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced café environment.
• Able to work on weekdays and weekends(occasionally).
• Previous café or barista experience is an advantage but not compulsory.

Position Details

Junior Barista

• No prior experience required.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Suitable for candidates who are interested in starting a career in the café and hospitality industry.

Barista

• Previous barista or café experience preferred.
• Able to prepare espresso-based beverages independently.
• Familiarity with espresso machines, coffee grinders and basic milk steaming techniques.

Working Hours

Monday – Friday
7.30 AM - 5.30 PM
