Role Description

The Trade Marketing Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Kuala Lumpur.
This role is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing plans that drive brand visibility, sell-through, and category growth across key channels and markets. Day-to-day activities include planning and implementing in-store promotions, coordinating point-of-sale materials, and managing trade campaigns in collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

The Trade Marketing Manager will analyze market and channel performance, track promotional effectiveness, and optimize trade investments to support business objectives. The role also involves working closely with distributors and retail partners, aligning trade strategies with brand positioning, and ensuring consistent execution across markets.

Qualifications

• Strong trade marketing and market planning skills, with experience designing and executing channel-specific campaigns.
• Business planning and sales skills, including the ability to align trade strategies with revenue targets and commercial priorities.
• Analytical skills to interpret market data, sales performance, and consumer insights, and translate findings into actionable plans.
• Experience in FMCG or beauty/skincare industries is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, including retailers and distributors.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
